The New Saga Continues
May 21, 2008I can’t remember most of my high school days. I never really expected that four years of schooling days would gone so really fast that I cannot help but found myself surprised when I have received my diploma. But just after I close the previous chapter in my life, another challenge looms by, threatening me with a powerful force that gives me a reason to give up. Just a few days from now, I know I had no choice but to face this fear. I know I had to be a college freshman.
Being a Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) student, I know that I am really blessed. I didn’t pass the entrance examination by pure luck. I wasn’t admitted as a new student just because of chance. Maybe I was admitted because of my hard work and dedication, knowing that education will be the only weapon I can carry in this generation where innovation is a rule.
As a teenager, I know that this chapter of my life is only the beginning of the future ahead of me. I still have many decisions to make, roads to cross, and dreams to fulfill. And sometimes, my weakness may lead me to the wrong path. But I also believe that as long as I utilize my God-given talents, I can completely overcome the obstacles that block my way.
I guess I must not be afraid. I must overcome this fear of going into college. Besides, I have to move on and keep on reminding myself that my life doesn’t end at high school. It is only a training ground for the betterment of my life in the years to come.

Finally, I have found the best way to enjoy myself while doing something worthwhile - Blogging! Yes. You have read it right. Although it is not my first time to create a blog, I still felt a beginner when I decided to join the i.ph community. The features of this blog host are really awesome and maybe that’s why many of my peers also decided to join Blogger. I am Rob Jeremiah G. Nuguid. I took my first breath on July 25, 1992 in Cavite (a province in the Philippines), which has become my home since then. At 16, I am now a college freshman in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. Aside from blogging, I also spend my time reading books, playing computer games, and watching movies. I am also a current member of various organizations. This is my picture:
